I’m excited to share some of my current haircare essentials with you today! These are all products that I’ve been using for at least 6 months and like for a variety of reasons. I’ve included shampoos, scrubs and more. I hope that this helps if you’re on the hunt for some new haircare products to try!
1. OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo
I’ve been using this shampoo on and off for years and it’s still one of my tried and true favorites! My hair is always especially shiny after using this shampoo and I love the smell. It’s also affordable which is certainly a plus!
2. R+Co Waterfall Moisture Shine Lotion
This winter has been really hard on my hair. I feel like I turn into a ball of static on a regular basis and my hair sticks to everything. This has been one of the only products that I’ve tried so far that gets rid of the static but doesn’t weigh down my hair. I use this on both dry and wet hair. 10/10 would recommend!
3. OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner
I have yet to find my true “favorite” conditioner, but this one is decent and I’ve returned to it time and time again after trying out other brands. I like that this conditioner isn’t too heavy and it smells nice without being overpowering. Nothing crazy, but it gets the job done. That being said, I’m still on the hunt for the “perfect” conditioner for me.
4. R+Co Skyline Dry Shampoo Powder
This dry shampoo was sent to me by R+Co. last year as a gift and it’s different from every dry shampoo I’ve tried before because it’s not an aerosol or spray. If you have any sensitivity to sprays or aerosols and are looking for a dry shampoo to try, this one is great! I like to carry this around with me in my bag when I’m out and about and a little goes a long way.
5. OUAI Super Dry Shampoo
By far the BEST dry shampoo I’ve ever used! I had seen a bunch of friends raving about this dry shampoo on Instagram and I finally checked it out to see if it was worth the hype. Spoiler alert, it is! The smell is quite pleasant (it is a little strong just FYI) and the spray doesn’t irritate my nose or the back of my throat like a lot of other aerosol hair products do. Definitely recommend!
6. Beachwaver Co. Good Vibes Moisturizing Shampoo
I like to use this shampoo when my hair is feeling especially dry and needs a bit of a refresh! It definitely lives up to its name and is very moisturizing. The soft coconut scent is also a plus in my book!
7. Kérastase Scrub Apaisant – Soothing Scalp Scrub
I’m lucky. to be on on Kérastase’s PR list, so I get to try out new products from them a few times a year. This is probably one of my favorites that I’ve ever tested! This scrub is for normal to dry hair and is meant to exfoliate the scalp while also soothing. 10/10 would recommend this if you’re ever dealing with a dry or itchy scalp. If you’re going to buy one scalp scrub, this one should be it!
8. Kérastase Scrub Énergisant – Purifying Sea Salt Scalp Scrub
This was a another scrub that the Kérastase team sent over, but it’s very different from the previous mentioned. If you’ve got an oiler scalp, this scrub is for you! I’ve found this to be a great product to use after using a bunch of product on my hair. It’s also good for when I feel like there’s a general build-up that’s accrued over time. If you have a very sensitive scalp I would recommend the previous scrub I mentioned over this one. However, I like both of these! I vary which one I use depending on what my current hair needs are.
